I feel Google+ 1, Google Plus hang out, Facebook Like Unlike, Facebook Video Chat, Twitter Page Rank, all are the dramas of the World Wide Web by these social communities to gain the market share of the internet world.

You might have heard now about the social media war which has just begun between Google and Facebook which is now bringing in every time something interesting or shocking news in social media and search giants. The news of such search monsters spread like fire in the woods and becomes the attention aspect for all. As now Google+ social network has been launched (for limited users), also called the Beta version, things are more seeing to be as war than just competition.

At the other end Bing is always looking for new ways to fight with its traditional rival, search giant (Google) ad keeps on launching various features to defeat the major search engines. Google in its Plus 1 project introduced the hang out feature for nine people, a video conference for them as well which made facebook blow up with its own amazing alliance. It offered alliance with Skype for video calling and came into competition again side by side. Facebook and Bing agreed to integrate Bing search in the facebook to support each others to drive Google down in popularity. But this search integration has not yet yielded any significant amount of traffic change to this Google.

Now only a big blast was made on this weekend with stunning news broke out from nowhere that Twitter page rank as dropped to zero and Google’s own page rank dropped to 9. I was speechless! Its not all yet as the social networking giant Facebook still enjoys the top ranks with PR 10. Twitter’s drop in page rank has been justified by many SEOs and professionals that this must have been due to excessive link sharing in Twitter with less value added content attached with the links. But the point which I have noticed here is that Twitter didn’t lose its popularity due to this incident.

According to some conventional SEOs, Twitter will be in bad time, but it’s not a piece of cake, may be its their bad assumptions because due to the page rank drop Twitter still enjoys as many traffic as it was before.

Another ice breaking SEO news broke out as well when in competition with Google started +1 button, Facebook is now introducing Like Unlike button. And this competition is getting worse when Facebook suspended one user account who tried to run ads on Facebook for his Google + social profile. At this time it would be hard to conclude what is going on in these Guerilla attacks of social communities. The picture will be more clear in the coming days.

If we call 2009 Twitter year then it is not wrong, many companies and even Google has start considering twitter as next big thing. However, twitter is currently a big thing to focus on. Many people have benefited from twitter, now they don’t have to rely on search engines for traffic and getting famous.
